Activate Greater This Summer

YMCA Day Camp and Overnight Camp give kids the space to grow, explore, and build confidence through meaningful experiences. From local day camps to adventures at Camp Thunderbird and Camp Harrison, programs spark independence, connection, and fun in a safe, supportive environment families trust. Overnight Camp registration is open, and Day Camp opens 1/05 for members.

Swim Lessons

At the Y, swim lessons are about more than learning strokes - they build confidence, safety, and fun in the water. From beginners to advanced swimmers, our supportive programs help kids and adults gain skills, develop strength, and grow into confident swimmers for life.

Nourish Our Community

This holiday season, the YMCA of Greater Charlotte is joining forces with Nourish Up and Charlotte Rescue Mission to support families facing food insecurity. Through Thanksgiving Box donations, pop-up food shares, and the Keith Family YMCA Community Fellowship Dinner, we’re helping ensure that neighbors across our community have access to nourishing meals and essential groceries.

Join us in spreading compassion and care this season. Volunteer your time to serve meals or help distribute food boxes - and if you’d like to donate pantry items or are looking for local food resources, you can view Charlotte Pantry List, a community resource that connects neighbors with donation and food assistance locations throughout Charlotte, NC. Together, we can make sure every neighbor experiences nourishment, connection, and hope this holiday season.
