Children's Academy Preschool Open House

Check out the Morrison Family YMCA Children's Academy Preschool during our OPEN HOUSE days. Every Wednesday in January you can drop by the Teen Center anytime during 9:30-11:00AM, to learn about the program, tour classrooms, see curriculum samples and have any questions answered by our staff. The Children's Academy offers quality hands on preschool programs for ages 18 months to 5 years. Preschool registration for the 2020-2021 school year begins February 1 for YMCA members.

AUDITIONS - FEBRUARY 1 | PERFORMANCES - MARCH 20-22 | CASTING GRADES 2ND-12TH | A child's intense world of playfulness, loyalty, adventure and betrayal comes to life! Mowgli, the human child, grows up in the jungle, raised by wolves under the guidance of Baloo the bear. The tiger, Sherakhan, killed his parents and wants the boy's flesh, but Bagheera, the lone panther, protects him. Mowgli grows up wild and unconcerned, believing he's a wolf; but the tiger works long and hard to poison the wolf pack against him. With rope stolen from the human village, Mowgli meets and destroys Sherakhan; but his use of "manthing" has broken jungle law. Mowgli must choose whether to defy the law or leave the jungle forever.
