For 48 hours, the Camp Thunderbird community comes together to make a lasting impact.
The 48-Hour Giving Challenge is our annual fundraising effort supporting camp scholarships - helping more children experience the adventure, independence, and personal growth that overnight camp provides.
During the challenge, camp staff, alumni, families, and supporters rally together through outreach, calls, and alumni gatherings to raise funds that help make the Camp Thunderbird experience possible for more children.
Every gift helps provide:
- Scholarships for families in need
- Confidence-building outdoor experiences
- Lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories
Whether you're a current camp family, an alum, or a friend of Thunderbird, your support helps pass on the legacy of camp and ensure more kids have the opportunity to grow, explore, and thrive at YMCA Camp Thunderbird.
