Dowd YMCA Kids Sports Takeover
For one day, Dowd YMCA belongs to the kids.
Join us on Saturday, August 22 from 4-6 PM for a free, community-wide multi-sport sampler at Dowd YMCA, part of ESPN's Take Back Sports Initiative. Families are welcome to drop in any time during the event, no experience or membership required.
Kids and their families will rotate through hands-on stations in soccer, NFL flag football, basketball, and athletic conditioning, with coaches on hand at every stop to cheer them on. Families are encouraged to try each drill alongside their kids and cheer on their athlete.
This event is completely free and open to the entire community. Come for one station or all of them, stay for ten minutes or the whole afternoon! We encourage you to register for the event ahead of time as spots are limited.
