Our Y stands with the Buffalo community and others that have recently endured racially motivated mass shooting events. There is no place for hate in our Y, or anywhere in our nation or our world. Please join us in prayer for all the lives lost, for others who have been impacted, and for all those who have lost a sense of security. We are always a stronger community when we love and support one another.

Charlotte leads the state of North Carolina in the number of drownings per capita. When you give to the Y, you partner with us in changing this statistic by helping us provide swim programs for swimmers of every level at pools and waterfronts across our footprint.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. 🧠💭 At the Y, we strive to strengthen community in spirit, mind & body. A vital component to building strong communities, families & individuals is to support mental health & wellness.
Take time this month to consider what you need to support your mental health. Small actions like incorporating regular self-care, physical activity, technology-free time, & connecting with loved ones can go a long way in supporting overall well-being.
