The Y Mission - Awards and Recognition

RECOGNIZING OUR DIFFERENCE MAKERS

Each YMCA volunteer plays an important role in moving our community forward. It is with deep gratitude that we acknowledge the contributions of those who support the Y’s efforts to nurture youth, improve the overall health of our community and create access and belonging for all.

Each year, the YMCA of Greater Charlotte presents awards of recognition at the Better Together Awards Celebration. Those honored embody the Y’s cause through contributions of time, leadership and resources. It is because of their support, our Y is able to create significant and positive change in the lives of adults and children.
