About Wellness

Our wellness programs give our members the tools, social support and strategies to adopt and maintain healthy behaviors.  From our Wellness Express Series which provides fundamental educational training on nutrition, exercise, stress & sleep, tracking, accountability and relationships to our programming for individuals with neuromuscular disorders or recovering from cancer these wellness programs help to bring you a holistic approach to healthy living.

This class combines stretching, non/low-impact cardio, muscle strengthening, flexibility and balance training. The focus is on movement as well as fellowship for individuals living with neuromuscular diseases.

This class is designed to build strength, improve flexibility and create community among cancer survivors. This class will be a continuation of the LiveSTRONG program as well as introduce cancer survivors to the LiveSTRONG at the YMCA program.

A life-hack, otherwise known as a “hack”, is not a quick-fix, it is a modified way of looking at things to help you reevaluate how you manage your time and daily activities in a more efficient way.  With our Weight Loss Hacks we’ll teach you new strategies to conquer weight loss and/or improve your healthy lifestyle habits one step at a time!  Weight loss, is not a simple approach of "if I eat healthy I'll loose weight.  It takes a balanced lifestyle approach to achieve your weight loss
