This yoga basics class is geared toward the beginner yoga student, but also accommodates anyone wanting to focus on the foundation and correct form of the poses while exploring the positive impact of breath on your practice and stress level. Your instructor will take you through basic sequences of poses and teach you how to transition from one pose to another. You will also learn how to make accommodations for your body within these fundamental poses. You will build your confidence by learning the fundamental poses, their names and basic breathing techniques. Yoga is for anyone wishing to build strength, increase flexibility and reduce stress.
