Strength and conditioning targets the entire body utilizing a variety of traditional functional and strength training tools for the optimum in muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular conditioning and functional fitness.

Low Intensity
Basic Skill

Focusing on only two areas, this class is  power packed!  Biceps, triceps, shoulders and forearms are targeted in any given class using a variety of equipment. This class also has hit ‘em hard abdominal work using mainly your own body weight.

This high intensity class combines skills and drills that will challenge your inner athlete by focusing on the 6 essential athlete goals: strength,  speed,  power, agility, endurance and muscular balance.  Strength and power work is achieved utilizing a variety of  equipment for challenge; cardio portion may include plyometric work and running. Class portions likely to go outside if weather permits.

 

High Intensity

Want to try something different? The BOSU is an inflated rubber dome on a flat, round platform. This class can include aerobic and strength training routines, flexibility exercises and balance training. Take the challenge to increase the functional strength, stamina and balance of your entire body — particularly your core!

Using a stability ball for strengthening, conditioning and cardiovascular benefits, this class takes a unique and fun approach to fitness. The class will assist in balance, tone, agility and strength for an overall fitness.

Circuit training is an excellent boredom buster! Whether you're lunging, jumping rope, or lifting weights, participants will rotate through a variety of cardio and strength based stations for a total body workout.

Group Active is perfect if you are new to exercise or have not exercised in a long time. Also ideal for the super busy and fit who need to get it all - cardio, strength, balance, and flexibility.

High-rep training, athletic movements, and a periodized training approach are key components of this results-driven workout. Add to this dynamic and motivational music and it simply is the most fun you’ll have strength training.

High intensity interval training, or HIIT training is an exciting workout that offers an aerobic, anaerobic, muscular endurance and fat burning exercises that will push you to your limits.  the HIIT routine alternates between intense bursts of multiple cardiovascular challenging activities with brief transitions *Modifications available.

A revolutionary cardio-based total-body conditioning program based on the principles of MAX Interval Training. MAX Interval Training allows a person to beat the "stress adaptation response," which normally happens when your body gets used to exercising at one level of exertion. By using MAX Interval Training, INSANITY pushes the participant to new training heights, resulting in more calories burned, faster results, and a more efficient metabolism.  Not musically driven.

A challenging class using a unique blend of aerobic & muscular endurance training.  You’ll alternate between higher intensity cardiovascular drills and complimentary muscular endurance exercises for the ultimate two-in-one workout!  Your instructor will lead you through this total body workout using a variety of strength equipment and your own body strength.  No previous experience required.  Modification options will be provided upon request.

QuickFit 101 consists of very basic, beginner cardiovascular and strength training exercises lead by our amazing fitness instructors designed to gain stamina, build lean muscle mass while increasing balance and flexibility.  Perfect for anyone new to exercise as well as for the senior population.

Sculpt and tone exercises focus on adding definition to your physique with higher reps and lower weight. These exercises help improve your circulation, metabolism and caloric burn, further enhancing the shape and definition of your muscles. Sculpt and tone classes use a variety of traditional and functional strength training tools.

This is a more intense version of Total Strength.  This total body strength training class is designed to create a stronger, leaner and more balanced musculature.  Strength work may inlcude a variety of equipment such as  dumbbells, barbells and resistance tubing while working to high-energy music. Prior strength training experience recommended.

High Intensity

This total body strength training class is designed to train you on proper form and function of the muscles.  We will incorporate traditional strength training exercises and functional training exercises to create a stronger, leaner and more balanced musculature.  Strength work may include a variety of equipment such as  dumbbells, barbells and resistance tubing while working to high-energy music.  Exercises can be modified to accommodate all fitness levels.

Boxing is a total body conditioning class that combines cardio & strength endurance movements in a circuit training pattern. You will move through a variety of stations that include kicking and *punching heavy bags in combination with a variety of core training and cardiovascular conditioning movements.  *Boxing gloves required - bring your own gloves/handwraps or purchase at the front desk for $30.
